Ingredients

  • • SWAD Rogan Josh Curry Paste – 3 tbsp

  • • Mutton (bone-in pieces) – 500 g

  • • Onion – 2 medium, finely sliced

  • • Yogurt – ½ cup (whisked)

  • • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp

  • • Oil or ghee – 3 tbsp

  • • Salt – to taste

  • • Water – 2 cups

  • • Fresh coriander – for garnish

Instructions

  • 1. Heat oil/ghee in a heavy pan, fry onions until golden brown.

  • 2. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute.

  • 3. Stir in SWAD Rogan Josh Curry Paste and cook for 2 minutes.

  • 4. Add mutton pieces, mix well, and sear until lightly browned.

  • 5. Add whisked yogurt, salt, and 2 cups water; mix and bring to boil.

  • 6. Cover and simmer on low flame for 40–50 minutes, until mutton is tender.

  • 7. Garnish with coriander and serve hot with steamed SWAD Basmati Rice or naan.
